At the Holy Family Fathers and Brothers of the Youth, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and empowering vulnerable young people across Nigeria, Africa, and beyond. Founded in 2003 in Okija, Anambra State, our congregation stands as a beacon of hope for youth facing poverty, addiction, social neglect, and lack of opportunity.

Through holistic programs that combine education, skills training, rehabilitation, and spiritual formation, we help young people rediscover their dignity and purpose. Our approach doesn’t stop at the individual — when a youth is transformed, entire families and communities are uplifted.
Our Core Programs
We currently focus on four major areas of impact:
Youth Rehabilitation Program: Providing counseling, mentorship, and holistic healing to young people battling addiction and trauma at our AFHIDEV Center in Nnewi Diocese. Plans are underway to establish a dedicated Mental Health Centre and Hospital.
Skills Acquisition Program: Equipping youth with practical vocational skills in tailoring, cobbling, ICT, carpentry, furniture-making, and other trades to help them achieve self-reliance and sustainable employment. Agricultural Empowerment Project: Training young people in modern, healthy agriculture, animal husbandry, poultry, piggery, and agribusiness to create food security and stable livelihoods. Faith & Leadership Formation: Offering moral, spiritual, and leadership training to youth while forming seminarians and future leaders who will serve the Church and society.
Real Impact, Real Stories
So far, we have mentored over 300 youth, trained more than 120 in vocational skills, and currently have 50 seminarians in formation. The transformation goes beyond numbers:
