Mission & Development

The mission of the Holy Family Fathers and Brothers of the Youth is of twofold; namely: personal sanctification of members through bearing witness to the holiness of the church and of life consecrated to God; practical works of charity directed mainly for rescue mission for the youths. Our missionary spirit is commitment and devotion to the people of God to whom we are sent especially the youths. Two modes of mission HFFBY are preaching/teaching and practical works to empower the youths.

We are at the moment in Nigeria, Sierra Leon, United Kingdom, America, Italy and France in about 15 Dioceses in the world.

The major challenges are funds to build more centres for the youths, lack of international members, language barriers etc.

There is urgent need to help the congregation build skill acquisition centres for missions in interior places. The Congregation recently has been able to successfully secure missions in Glasgow Arch Diocese, Middlebury Diocese, Bistol Diocese in the UK. We humbly request for more prayers from the people for the growth of our Institute.
